Any way to have an option to control the timestamp format or at least have the choice between "USA m/d/y AM/PM" and "European y-m-d 24hr ISO" format ?

But very often you also want to set/update Fix version when assigning.

I was thinking asking for a "Set Fix Version..." but now I actually think making "Assign.." cover both assignee and fixversion would be best.

Thus instead of just Assignee with optional Comment have it be Assignee AND/OR Fix Version with optional comment.

Allowing you to change one or the other or both.

This would make my workflow of assigning issues much simpler.

Today I have to click Assign + Edit.. for fix version (or use Edit... and then change both Assign + Comment + Fix version) which is slow
and cannot be done on multiple issues at the time.

Is there a way to (optionally) save the tabs open between restarts ?

Either all of them or be able to mark certain tabs as "persistent" ?

how about the Jira "cloning" functionality? Would be great to clone/copy issues directly in JiraClient to have the ability to bulkadd some new issues and just make some small changes after that.

First of all: I really really like ur tool. It's really helpful and useable in my daytime job so - great work

But there're still some things on my wishlist that i would love to see in the client ...

First of all i would like to see a Reminder in the Jira Client when i'm NOT working.
So when the Time Tracking Component didnt track time for, for eg., 15 Minutes, it would be great to get a message and the option to book that time on a specific ticket.

Looking at a bug that has some bugs that it depends on, i.e. that block it.

If I click on the little magnifying glass icon to the right of "Depends On:" I get a list lf all the bugs that this bug depends on. So far so good.

Is there a way to filter that list further, i.e. see only those bugs that are on the list AND are assigned to a certain person, or have a certain Status, etc.?

If that isn't available, I can accomplish the same thing if I can build a query that includes a "Blocks" or a "Depends on" as a term (i.e. give me all bugs that block this bug and meet other query criteria), but that doesn't seem to be available.

Our Bugzilla database currently has 848 bugs. During an update from the server, my Deskzilla installation encountered an error on bug #830. I tried every way I could think of to clear the error and finally used Tools->Remove Invalid Bug to delete it from the local database, expecting that I could restore it from the server.

I tried Bug->Reload All Details, Connection->Get Changes Now and Connection->Reload Bugzilla Configuration and I can not get the bug back... my list of "All Bugs" goes from 829 to 831 and no 830.

I have verified that bug 830 is still there in the database, and others on the project report that it is present in their local Deskzilla databases.

How can I get it back, short of something really drastic like blowing away the whole local database and starting over?

because we're attaching a lot of files and something like this and it creates a big e-mail traffic and thats not so comfortable
and the users are crying about that.

So for instance, I create a new bug report with 6 attachments and I get one mail with the created report and 6 for the attachments, thats not so fine.

Is there a solution??

I had an existing project set up in bugzilla 2.1 and I was having issues with the users not being passed from Bugz to Deskz. I set up a new bugz project and it passed the new users which are visble for assigning to in the various assignment drop downs and cc's. However none of the additional users I have added to bugz can be seen in those drop downs - even though i gave them full permissions in bugz.

I deleted the contents of my .deskzilla folder and tried reconnecting, just to make sure that it wasnt a connection issue. but it is no different.

Can you help or offer any suggestions ?

I'm now having a new error using jira client against http://issues.jboss.org.

It does connect and fetch projects etc. but as soon as I try run queries or update issues I get either sync problems or a message saying:
"Cannot run query (JIRA Error or Login Required)"

Any ideas on how to fix ?

You likely could get rid of some of the 345 OPEN issues.

The oldest Un-assigned and Open issues have been posted already 2006...please try to clean-up (keep up2date) your database

I do not assume that you want to beat Atlassian with their plenty of 7-years-old-and-still-neither-worked-on-and-solved-or-at-least-ignored-issues!?!

we are using Jira 3.13.4 and the Jira Client Pro 2.3.4.

We have one multiselect field in Jira, which is configured to have two different contexts for two projects.

Project 1:
Custom Field Multiselect Field "S-Values"
Context-Values:
a
b
c

Project 2:
Custom Field Multiselect Field "S-Values"
Context-Values:
d
e
f

In Jira, the values are only visible for the appropriate project (in issues in project 1 are only the values a, b and c available).

In Jira Client, the context is ignored and all values are available for each project:
e.g. for Project 1 are the values a, b, c, d, e and f available, of which d, e and f are invalid.

I couldn't find a issue about this in your jira and I'm not available to create a bug report.
Can you please tell me if you know already about this bug or if there are plans to fix it or if it is a configuration problem?

But now, I have all custom fields in every Product.

The users have different access rights to the products with group permissions, but this problem is also
at the administrator account.

We need to synchronize the 2 databases and I wonder if Jira Client is able to do that (I did not find the way to do that with jira client).
For instance, some issues are modified in the Jirabase of the customer and I want to update a jira project of my database with issues of the customer's base.
Is Jira Client designed to do that ?
I try to drag and drop issues from one base to another one but it is not possible.

As the client is pulling down a couple of hundred issues at a time, this slows the UI down considerably every 2 or so minutes. Any ideas what might be going on?
