Greetings!

Today we have released our second beta. Months of hard work are behind - yet we liked the process and we hope you would like the result.

This beta has a lot of new stuff compared to the versions that have been around in the beginning of the summer:

  • The user interface has been redesigned to reduce the visible complexity of the application. We tried to remove as many "alien" concepts as possible, so that a Bugzilla user would instantly know what to do with Deskzilla.
  • Application underwent heavy CPU and memory profiling with good results. We rate current Deskzilla performance as "acceptable". We would like to improve it more and even more, and we certainly will do that in the future.
  • More features were added to the scope of Deskzilla 1.0 to make it a really valuable addition to the Bugzilla system.

Thanks to everybody who have sent feedback about the early versions of Deskzilla! It was, and is, vital to hear from you. I invite everyone who is using Bugzilla to take a look at our product and complain about what is missing or wrong, so with the next release we can make some people a little bit happier.
