I was wondering if deskzilla couldn't be cheaper?
89Euro is pretty much, specially that like in my case, we have 9 people 9*89 = 800 Euro
This means that it's better to become Microsof partner and get a lot of thair software including MS Project... for about 900 Euro...
Would you consider this as an argument to lower the price a little bit?
I think 25-40Euro would be acceptable.

Hello Mikolaj,
Thanks for your request. First of all, Deskzilla has great volume discounts. You can get 10 Deskzilla licenses for 710 Euro.
As for your comparison with MS Project... Does MS Project allow to work with bugs in Bugzilla? These are different products. Anyway, I'm not sure that you can get 10 CALs for MS Project for 900 EUR. From what I see on Microsoft site, list price is $600 - $1000 per user. MSDN subscription will also be licensed to a single developer only. If you could provide more details about this competitive offer, please write to sales@deskzilla.com, we'll be happy to answer.
Best regards,
Igor

Our company is Microsoft Partner, I have checked prices and we get olmost everythin thay produce for 300 Euro / year usualy 5-10 licenses to use inside our company.
Of course I can't connect MS project to bugzilla ;-) but I can use MS Share Point Portal Server which is included in our subscryption ;-)
Or some smaller programs to follow bug-tracking in our software.
But I will consider your volume license.
Best Regards

The evalution was nice but it is too expensive for me as an individual to buy. I ask my company if they would considered buying it but they first asked me "Doesn't Buzilla already have an interface?" which my reply had to be 'Yes'. Then they asked "Doesn't the current interface handle the needs you required?" which again I said "Yes.....but this interface is so much less annoying!".....to which that...pretty much ended our conversation.
So, I guess I'll have to wait for the competitors cheaper version to arrive.

puwaba,
Thanks for the story. Your management is right, they don't want to spend money on what seems no value for them. But I bet they didn't try Deskzilla themselves (probably they don't use your company's Bugzilla much).
Thing is, Deskzilla is not only "less annoying" interface, it has features that are not possible with plain Bugzilla. Such as offline work, which may save developer's time if Bugzilla server is unavailable for any reason. Another feature, issue breakdown structure with nested queries, is of great use for management, because it gives an instant view of the project status. So Deskzilla actually is something more than just an alternative interface.
If your company relies heavy on Bugzilla, I suggest that you offer your management to try Deskzilla. It's not a problem to get evaluation licenses for a longer period and to extend current eval licenses.
Best regards,
Igor

Thanks for the info. I'll got back to them with it.
I just wanted to add to this discussion as a satisfied (and paying ;-) user: Deskzilla is a far, far superior interface to Bugzilla, not only because of the offline capabilities (which in itself is nice for people working on application support on the road), but for me mainly because of the Collections, which makes complex Bugzilla queries both faster and more easy to set up.
Keep up the good work!
Cheers
Bernd
