Hi there,

a collegue want to save the local db of deskzilla in another drive.
Is it possible to set the workspace directory, .e.g via a property at startup ?

thanks,
Bernhard.

Hi Bernhard,

Exactly what your colleague wants is not currently possible. We are working on a "shared install" feature ( http://bugs.deskzilla.com/show_bug.cgi?id=140 ) which will allow to separate workspace from the binary installation.

I have a simple workaround on my mind - why not move all Deskzilla installation dir to another drive? Would that be sufficient for now?

Thanks!

Best regards,
Igor

Hi Igor,

he want to separate data and program. I think this is what bug#140 describes.
So if this will be implemented, it will be possible to set the data and program directory i suspect :-), and so we are fine ;-)

kind regards,
Bernhard.
