We have modified our version of bugzilla to show different names on the HTML form for the fields. Is there a way currently to modify what field names display within the Deskzilla? Is there perhaps an "administrator" mode where fields can be edited and/or mapping changed?
Great product. I will shoot you many ideas (if you want).

As for the custom field names, they are not supported in Beta2. We already have received a request for this feature, and it should not be hard to implement, so perhaps we'll see it in 1.0 release or even sooner.
But this only concerns field names. As for custom fields - which could be added to Bugzilla with some patches, I guess, - I'm afraid we won't be able to support them in 1.0. We'll get to them later - certainly.

You mentioned in this thread that the ability to display custom fieldnames should be implemented by the 1.0 release. I downloaded the software today and I still do not see any of my custom field names displaying in the bugs. Is there a timeline for when this will be introduced? The director of development here is very interested in this product but it must be able to support custom fields/ fieldnames.

Current milestone says "Future", which means "not in the 1.1". Since the interest in this feature rises, I am now increasing the severity of this feature, and we'll think about promoting it to the "1.1" milestone on the next planning session. You can watch this bug to get updates on its status.

I'm a new user and just downloaded 1.3. My custom fields are not showing up. Are there any configuration changes that I need to perform to make them show up?

Custom fields are not yet supported, sorry. We plan to add them in Deskzilla 2.0. (As a fallback from the situation where Deskzilla doesn't show something about a bug, you can press F9 to open the bug's web page in browser.)
