Maybe I just missed it, but I didn't find a possibility to upload all new bugs at once...
The "Commit" command only works on one selected Bug at a time it seems.

Yes, you're right - there's no such action right now. We'll add it to our todo.
We initially assumed that there's not much need for Upload All action because one would commit new/changed bug, and it will be uploaded immediately. If there's no connection, the bug will be uploaded automatically later, when connection is restored.
Regards,
Igor
Ah, I see... I was assuming that I can not upload when not connected, so I just saved the bugs locally and wanted to upload them later.
I downloaded the current 1.1 beta, and I still don't see a "Commit All" feature. I still think this would be a very nice feature, and not very hard to implement either.
Thanks for consideration
Bernd

Yep, thanks for your timely reminder! We'll try to put it into final Deskzilla 1.1. Truely it's not hard to implement (not zero cost though).
BTW, we planned to enable multiple bug selection in bugs table, but had to postpone this feature until later. When it is done, "Commit All" would in fact be equal to "Select All", "Commit".
Thanks again, please let me know if you have other ideas for quick fixes before 1.1 release.
Best regards,
Igor

Deskzilla 1.1 now has this feature! Try "File-Upload Local Changes".
Thanks for your requests.

As I have already mentioned in Bug 192, I have seen this feature, but I can't figure out how it works... The "Upload Local Changes" menu item is disabled all the time...
Can you explain how this is supposed to work?
Thanks
Bernd

Hi Bernd,
This action should be enabled when you have locally modified bugs. When you select this menu item, they all are placed into upload queue and should get synchronized, one by one.
If you see this action disabled, and there are bugs with modifications, then this might be a problem we didn't see earlier. Is this problem easily reproduced? We'll try to figure out what's going on and get back to you...
Best regards,
Igor
I tried two different workflows, and the menu item was never enabled:
1. Changed some aspects of a Bug, then "Save As Draft"
2. Changed some aspects of a Bug without network connection, pressed "Commit"
Both Bugs are shown in the list of "Bugs with uncommited local changes" which is opened when pressing the small Icon on the lower right.
After the network connection is reestablished, Bug Nr. 2 is submitted some time later, Bug Nr. 1 remains in the list. As I said, the menu item "Upload Local Changes" is never enabled.

Hi Bernd,
We reproduced the problem. It turns out that for some reason the action worked for us, while it should have not.
Sorry about this, we'll get this fixed in 1.1.1. We're also going to nail this problem with an acceptance test to minimize the risk that it reappears again.
