How can I change the IP address of Virtual Bugzilla server (VMWare virtual machine - with VMWare Player) e.g. 192.168.10.128 instead of 192.168.83.128?

Initially, VBS is configured to receive IP address by DHCP. So you have to: a) change connection type from NAT to Bridged; cool.gif configure your local DHCP server so it assigns needed IP to the VBS's MAC address.

Hope this helps!

When running other appliances, they receive correct IP address by DHCP e.g. 192.168.10.* (which can be seen by other computers on the LAN).
When running VBS the IP is 192.168.83.128 - it can't be used by other computers on the LAN.

You have to change connection type from NAT to BRIDGED. Double-click on the "Ethernet" icon on the VMWare window and make the change. Then reboot VBS by clicking inside VMWare window and pressing Ctrl+Alt+Ins.
