That's an interesting idea! Would you like to send to an arbitrary e-mail, or to specific JIRA users? Also, what should be included in the e-mail: only key/summary/link, all fields, comments, attachments?

I second that. I think it would be sufficient if email includes only link and discription - people can always see the rest of the info by clicking the link.
Example:
Subject: [BUG NUMBER] BUG TITLE
Body: Link to the bug in Jira web UI
