Bernhard,
Thank you for your ideas and kind words!

Feature Request 1: Is is possible to push public queries to deskzilla clients ?
Reason: When you have a larger user base, i should be possible to give them a set of shared public queries.
Am I getting this feature right:
1. There's some kind of repository for shared queries. Somebody (not everyone!) has the rights to edit this repository.
2. There's a special folder in Deskzilla, where the shared queries are loaded. It is read-only, the users cannot remove or edit those queries.
3. Shortly after the repository of shared queries change, the changes are reflected in the user's Deskzillas.
This is certainly possible, and this looks like a major feature. The main question here is - what is this repository and where does it reside? Bugzilla does not provide such functionality, so there are options:
1. We can have a "special system 'bug record' " in Bugzilla, that will not actually be a bug, but a place to store shared info. Cost to implement: medium. Disadvantages: need to protect and isolate this special bug.
2. It's possible to have additional Deskzilla server, but it looks clumsy and unneeded right now. Cost to implement: high.
3. File-based query storage. Deskzilla may load a file (could be a shared folder) which will contain the public queries. This really looks interesting to me. Cost to implement: low. Disadvantages: all users must be within file reach (LAN or VPN) of the shared queries file.
What do you think?

Feature Request 2: Is is possible to push a set of inital private queries to deskzilla clients ? (e.g. like the connection wizzard does it at the moment ?)
Reason: see above. I would like to reduce the set or private queries the wizzard creates at the moment, and give them an initial useful set.
Right, that's also possible and it could be implemented along with the feature request one, with the same options.

thanks for this really cool tool :-)
Thanks!

I really would like to hear what you think about the details above. If the third implementation option looks good for your environment, we could inject this feature into our plans for Deskzilla 1.1!
Best regards,
Igor
