This is my setup: virtual bugzilla server (192.168.193.128) using VMWare server running on a Redhat linux host (external internet ip). Updated VMWare server network config to map the external traffic to port 80 on 192.168.193.128.

Using the browser from the internet, I hit the external internet ip and get the bugzilla login page.

But, when I try to login as admin/admin, the login button tries to go to 192.168.193.128, hence errors out.

Further, other links, such as "Open a new Bugzilla account" goes correctly to http://<external internet ip address>/createaccount.cgi

How do I resolve this? Thanks for your time.

Sanjiv, you need to set "urlbase" parameter to "http://<external ip>" by going to "Parameters" menu in Bugzilla or manually editing "data/params" file on the server.

Best regards,
Igor

Ok, that did it. I'm sure its somewhere in the documentation and should have looked there first.
