Full Version: Search within Tags?

Hello again,

I was wondering if it was possible to do a quick search within all or a selected number of Tags? When I have selected a tag, trying to enter something in the quick search field will always highlight All bugs...

If this is not possible at the moment, please consider this an RFE!

All the best

Bernd, that is strange. It should be possible to search within Tags node. Please check the scope of quick search by clicking on the "magnifying glass" icon in the beginning of the search field. Does it say "search within selected nodes"?

Well, if I select one or more Tags directly, the search works, so to search in all Tags, I have to manually select all of them (which is a workaround). I'd just like to select the "Tags" folder to search within all Tags.

Another thing is that I can not restrict the search to Remote Queries, no matter if I select the "Remote Queries" folder or a single query within this folder, the search always uses the server as scope (the workaround in this case is to tag the bugs from one Remote Query and then search on the Tag, which is not very nice either)

That is so because currently Deskzilla knows nothing about remote queries, except its URL. That makes it impossible to run remote queries over local database, and quick text search can work only over local database. We have a feature in our plans -- to reconstruct remote queries by parsing their URLs. That will make remote queries no different from other queries, and this problem will also be gone.

Thanks again for valuable feedback!
