An option for automatic refresh rate, maybe an option to set a timer when to check the server for new bugs.

Thanks for the idea! Filed:

By the way, what refresh rate would you have set if there had been such an option?

Best regards,
Igor

I very strongly second this request - please expedite. Is there a workaround currently (other than manual update)?

To answer sereda/igor's question: Refresh interval I (or anyone in my team) would set would range from 5 minutes to 60 minutes.

Would also be nice to have an autorefresh on launch and a button to perform a manual refresh all.

kmadan,

Thanks for your reply! I have increased the severity of this issue. We will try to implement it sooner.

Also, if you are a commercial user (you or your company has purchased the commercial license), you are entitled to priority issue resolution. In the case of this issue, we would be able to release it in the nearest patch (due next week); moreover if it's a matter of utter urgency, we are able to create a special branch and release "quick hack" just for you very very quickly smile.gif Please drop a request to support at deskzilla.com if you are a commercial user and sorry for this little advertising if you are not smile.gif

Manual refresh is done by "File - Download Changes" command. Do you mean something else? Could you give a little explanation, please?

Autorefresh on launch - a good idea, thanks. We'll count it in.

Cheers,
Igor

My vote for this feture.
It would be very niece since it could stan for bugzilla email system.
And new items should have different color or some other mark.

Deskzilla 1.1 has a couple of command-line options to set the synchronization rate. (Nice looking preferences dialog is planned for a future version.)

Please use auto.sync.period and auto.sync.period.failed to set the delay between synchronizations, in case synchronization succeeds and fails, correspondingly. NB: the time is given in minutes.

For example:
deskzilla.exe -J-Dauto.sync.period=5 -J-Dauto.sync.period.failed=30

or
java -Dauto.sync.period=5 -Dauto.sync.period.failed=30 -jar deskzilla.jar

Cheers,
Igor
