What is the user limit for JIRA Client Light? I have 10 users on my JIRA server, and web interface works fine, but the JIRA Client has started giving me an error that "User Limit Exceeded" and the synchronization has stopped working.

The limit is 10 users. JIRA Client looks for the users mentioned in the issues as reporter, assignee, watcher, voter. Could you please open New Issue form, click on Assignee drop-down and count the users listed there? Are there any users that shouldn’t be there?

My version is JIRA Client Lite 2.0.1, I recently see this problem after I upgrade the JIRA 4.0 from trial license to 10 users starter pack (not sure if this is related or just coincidence)

Did you have at any time more than 10 users in that JIRA? How many users do you see in the "Assignee:" drop-down on the Edit Issue / Create Issue form in JIRA Client? Could you please try creating a new JIRA Connection to your JIRA and see if it works?

I have this same issue. We use hosted jira (hosted by atlassian). They have a system admin user (who doesnt count towards the limit) and we also have "inactive" users and users who cant login, so theoretically we are above the 10 user limit, but still within the license. I am using 2.2 beta1 build 5589

No, unfortunately no news here. JIRA Client cannot tell active users from inactive as of now. Sorry about that.

we have the same problem!
JIRA Lite 2.2, 27 users (in JIRA we have 31 user), but the message about "user limit axceeded" appeared not for all users. For whoum this message might be, and what meens "user" (is it JIRA user, or project involved user)?

Same problem for me since today ...
I restart my Computer and the Jira Client and now i can't use the Version cause i get the User Limit Exceeded Message.
In my License Informations in JIRA i an see, that we have exactly 10 Users in the System.

Cause we imported some Bugs from an older Mantis Version, there are 18 Reporters in the Sytstem, but Jira knows that these Users are
inactive ...

Woukd be great if there's some news about this issue ...

I deleted 3 Users, so we have an overall of 15 Users. Only 10 are active ... But it won't work either way :-(

Daniel, JIRA Client Lite should work with 15 users. Please try clearing local database or removing the connection and creating it anew.
