Hi
I am trying to build a new query encorporating a custom field in our JIRA database and I am not how (if possible) to put a "not blank" option in. Basically the field is a standard text field and I want to find all the issues in which the field is not blank, the only options I have in the query create query is a box for the search string and the option to match all words or any words.
I figure that this may not be possible, but in case it is it would be really usefull!
Thanks
Joel

Hi Joel,
Thanks for the suggestion, it's really not implemented yet. Please sign up and vote for
http://jira.almworks.com/browse/JCO-313 and
http://jira.almworks.com/browse/PLO-567Workaround: type in all alphabet letters and other characters there might be in this field, separated by whitespace (like "a b c d e f...") and select "match any words". It's ugly but it should work. You can later copy-paste the whole query in the Navigation Tree or parts of it from the Query Builder to avoid doing the same routine.
Kind regards,
Igor
